PhD. The Forest.

My PhD journey, at this point, has been like axing through the forest: uncharted territory. That's how a PhD journey is: the student doesn't know where he/she is going, and the territory is unfamiliar (although we've read tons of literature about it!). Still, it's scary. It's frightening, and it can make a PhD student question his/her self. One cannot do it alone. That is why I am super grateful to have a forming community around me who supports me. My spiritual leader, family, friends, and my PhD mentors, whom I am all grateful for. They are all at the shore, cheering me on, and waiting for me to cross that finish line. I will cross the finish line.
